At the airport

• You should be updated on possible delays due to security measures at your airport.
• Check your luggage, make sure it complies with the size and weight restrictions established by the airline.
• Use luggage tags for your bags, inside and outside of them, in case they are delayed, or the outer tag is lost.
• Take a photo of your luggage on your phone or digital camera.
• Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. This way, you will be prepared to take them off in case it is requested by the airport authorities.

At your hotel

• Whenever you are out of the room, lock your suitcase or use the safe to store valuables.
• Inside the room, keep the door locked and use the peephole if someone knocks on your door.

On the Street

• Do not carry valuables.
• Carry only what you need, such as a passport and credit card, at all times.
• Do not leave your bag anywhere for any reason. Use crossbody bags.
• Keep the wallet in your front pocket.
• When using a backpack, always keep it in front of you and keep important documents there.
• Always carry a hotel business card with you. This in case you have to ask for help and get directions.
• Put your camera away when you are not using it.

In the event that a document or item is lost or stolen, inform your travel advisor and local police immediately. Keep all copies of any reports made by any authority to claim your travel insurance when you return home.
