Passports

All people traveling must have a valid passport to travel abroad. To apply for a passport, you will need to meet the requirements requested by the Immigration Department in your country. Passport application forms and information on fees can be obtained from your immigration office. The processing time for your passport application can take between 2 to 10 weeks.

All passports must have at least 3 blank visa pages and must be valid for 6 months after the end of your trip.

All foreign nationals should contact our reservations department by e-mail at info@up-travelonline.com , to find out if visas are required in the countries in which they will stay and through which they will travel.

Up Travel Online is not responsible for delays or denial of entry to certain countries due to lack of visa.

All visa costs and entry/exit requirements may change at any time. Please contact our advisors for details and up-to-date information.

Entry visas

Some countries require tourists to have an entry visa prior to their arrival. If this is your case, we will send you the visa application forms approximately 80 days before the trip.

Other charges

Some countries charge departure taxes that are paid at the airport when you leave the country. Other countries charge a single income tax.

Electronic visa

Australia requires an electronic visa, which is obtained at the time of purchase of the plane ticket.

Important information

You will be responsible for carrying your passport with you at all times. Never carry it in your luggage.

Important advice: Keep a document with a copy of your passport, place, and date of issue, and the first page, in a place other than your passport. This would be of great help if your passport is lost or stolen while you are traveling. In the event of an issue, immediately notify Up Travel Online travel advisor, who will help you contact the appropriate offices to issue a temporary replacement passport.

The travel accessories that you should not forget

If you want to have a more enjoyable trip while enjoying your vacation, you should have the right accessories on hand.

Here you will find a list of the 6 essential accessories to make your trip an unforgettable experience:

Travel jacket

Remember that the ideal jacket is the one that adapts to any climate. We advise you to take a jacket with you: pockets to keep your hands warm. Gloves available on the sleeves. Secure pockets for phone, passport, and sunglasses. And it doesn't hurt to use a waterproof jacket.

Anti-theft bag

Pack everything you need for your trip in an anti-theft bag. These accessories are designed to protect your credit cards and passport, with a cut-proof strap system and panels that keep your personal items safe.

Noise Canceling Headphones

A pair of noise-canceling headphones can make your trip quieter and more enjoyable, whether you want to eliminate external noise, listen to music, watch movies, or take a nap.

Travel pillow

Your neck will thank you after a long flight all night. We recommend a traditional travel pillow or an inflatable one.

Collapsible water bottle

Choose a bottle that will easily fit in your pocket or purse. Then, the moment you need to refill it, you will simply have to open it, fill it, and eliminate the thirst.

Oversized scarf

Perhaps the essential accessory. We assure you that this piece will save your day. You can use it as a scarf, and if necessary, it can be a blanket when you need it.

Customize your vacation

Every itinerary has room for flexibility and customization. Get the most out of your travel package with these four tips:

Research

Knowing in depth the destinations of your trip will help you make the most of your adventure. Every destination is special, and knowing where to go, what to see, what to eat, and what to skip entirely will help you optimize your travel experience. For example: before your trip, take time to read about the history and culture of the place where you are. Having this information, you can also optimize your free time. You can write your own story.

Talk to your tour director

The person indicated to give you information about the place will be your guide. He is an expert in the places you will visit, he knows the language and will be able to help you improve your trip in many ways.

Talk to your guide about the history, gastronomy, and the best attractions of each destination. He will be able to give you recommendations for your trip on any detail of your destinations, such as:

Best dishes

Restaurants you must visit

Most relevant tourist attractions

Markets

Where to shop and gift ideas

Stay longer

We recommend that you consider adding one or two more nights to your trip at the beginning or end of your visit. This practice has become one of the best experiences for travelers looking to spend more time in a particular destination or simply to rest before the next tour begins.

If this suggestion catches your attention, please let your travel advisor know. He will be able to help you make the necessary travel adjustments and even get you reduced rates at specific hotels where you will stay during the tour.

Group trips

A group trip can be more fun than traveling on your own. You will have the opportunity to have new perspectives of the world. On these trips, you can make new friends, and of course, traveling with family and friends will be a lot of fun.

Here are some tips for getting the most out of group travel.

Assigning a leader is one of the best ways to avoid the stress of group travel. The trip planning process is easier when one person is in control of emails and phone calls.

The whole group chooses the destinations.

The group leader can encourage group members to decide where and when to travel. Encourage each member to choose two main places or sites they would like to visit. The leader can then be responsible for finding trips that include as many options as possible.

If you already have a set destination, we recommend choosing your travel dates 6 months in advance. This way, they can be sure that their trip will have enough space to accommodate the whole group. Keep an alternative date in case your first choice is not available.
